At the same time, they have inspiring grit, motivation, capacity, and promise; needing access to education and skills that will give them a chance to thrive in life and make a difference in their communities.

Hope Ignites New York closes the achievement gap and workforce development divide by acting as a bridge to opportunity which spans middle school through college graduation and into career launch.

Hope Ignites reflects the evolution of who we are and the impact we make. In an increasingly competitive landscape of youth-serving organizations, this name distinguishes us from others and clarifies our unique mission and impact.

Our new name reflects the full journey of those we serve—from scholars to young professionals—and better represents the diverse individuals and communities we serve.

We’re so grateful for your support of Hope Ignites New York, formerly Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York! As we work through our legal name change with the Internal Revenue Service, we need your help to ensure gifts reach us without delay.

We’ve seen some confusion in online giving portals during this transition. While we’re updating our name to Hope Ignites New York in these systems, some portals and donor-advised fund (DAF) databases may still list us as Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York until the IRS change is complete.
